black-cat-spider-wars-1996-toy-biz-carded
Marvel Comics Spider-Man: Spider-Wars – Black Cat (Cat-Scratching Crossbow) Action Figure (1996 Toy Biz)

Few figures from Toy Biz's landmark 1994–1997 Spider-Man: The Animated Series line generate as much collector discussion as Black Cat (Felicia Hardy). Her limited screen time in the animated series makes this Spider-Wars wave release a genuine standout — a character who barely appeared on screen but earned her own action figure slot in one of the era's most beloved sub-lines. For 90s Marvel toy collectors, landing this one is a meaningful gap-fill.

This is a vintage 1996 carded example on the iconic purple and yellow Spider-Man: The Animated Series blister card, carrying the Spider-Wars sub-line logo and "Bonus Collector Pin" callout. The bubble remains intact and attached to the card. The card shows light wear consistent with nearly three decades of storage — corners display gentle creasing and the card back retains its full Black Cat character bio, three-step Claw-Arrow launch instructions, and the complete Spider-Wars wave lineup grid (Doppelganger Spider, Dr. Strange, Hydro Man, and Cyborg Spider-Man) alongside a secondary Arachniphobia wave grid. Item No. 47184 is clearly printed on the front.

The Spider-Wars sub-line sits at the peak of Toy Biz's animated-series output, and Black Cat remains one of the most sought-after entries in that wave precisely because of her scarcity relative to the main Spider-Man characters. This piece suits a carded-display collector building a complete Spider-Wars run or a dedicated Black Cat (Felicia Hardy) character collection. It displays equally well as a wall-hang or shelf piece and pairs naturally with the other five Spider-Wars figures for a complete wave presentation.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0832/2596/8956/files/image_001_5ff06dc8-7a5e-4073-9e64-62315cd9bf61.jpg?v=1791304494
