The Original Ghost Rider (Exploding Ghostfire Chest) represents the Johnny Blaze incarnation within a wave that also included Zarathos, Outcast, Exploding Ghost Rider, and Armored Blaze, making carded examples increasingly difficult to find nearly three decades on. The Ghost Rider/Midnight Sons corner of Marvel has remained notably underrepresented in modern collector lines, elevating the desirability of original vintage cards from this era.

This example is presented vintage carded (Item No. 52311, © 1996 Toy Biz). The card artwork is vibrant, with bold flame graphics and the prominent "Flame Glow Details" callout badge clearly visible. The bubble presents the figure — featuring glow-in-the-dark Flame Glow detailing and a push-button exploding ghostfire chest action — alongside his linkable chain accessory and a glow-detailed staff. Notably, the package includes a custom Marvel comic book, a standout feature that distinguished this line from its contemporaries. The card back carries the full Johnny Blaze character bio, exploding chest action diagram, full wave checklist, and cross-sell imagery for the Ghost Rider Flammin' Stunt Cycles and Spirits of Vengeance Cycles & Riders sets.

This piece is squarely aimed at the serious 90s Marvel collector or Midnight Sons enthusiast building a display-worthy representation of the era. The complete wave checklist on the card back doubles as a roadmap for set builders, and the card's rich, intact graphics make it a striking display piece. Few vintage examples from this wave surface with card art this vivid — a genuine time capsule from the supernatural peak of 90s Marvel.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0832/2596/8956/files/image_001_f0e503d9-b077-4829-9774-60de16f0663d.jpg?v=1790619309
https://www.jaystoysandgames.com/products/marvel-comics-ghost-rider-the-original-ghost-rider-exploding-ghostfire-chest-action-figure-1996-toybiz
