Where previous incarnations leaned into bright primary colours, this New Eternia redesign leans darker and more dramatic — a post-apocalyptic Eternia aesthetic that repositions the Heroic Fist-Flinging Tornado as a battle-hardened storm herald rather than a colourful sidekick. Collectors who have tracked Sy-Klone across the vintage original and the 2002 200x release will find this version a compelling evolution of the character.

The figure arrives in Mattel's large window-box format, with sweeping cosmos-themed artwork across every panel and "SY-KLONE" printed vertically on the right spine — a sharp display piece even before it's opened. Inside, the approximately 7-inch figure features 30 points of articulation and comes equipped with his signature translucent golden disc shield and a chest radar torso detail that nods directly to the vintage figure. The packaging is in vintage condition, with light shelf wear consistent with its age, and the window and figure remain fully intact. The back panel showcases three inset action-pose photos alongside Wave 13 shelf-mates Thunder Punch He-Man, Emperor Hordak, and Leech.

For adult MOTU collectors building out a Masterverse New Eternia display, Sy-Klone fills a character slot that many considered overdue. The New Eternia sub-line's darker palette and premium articulation standard make this wave a cohesive display set, and Sy-Klone's distinctive silhouette — golden armour against deep blue skin — stands out strongly on shelf. Whether displayed in-box or posed out, this is a release that rewards long-time fans of the franchise.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0832/2596/8956/files/image_001_aefa5097-acbc-4ed1-ad28-3bec128c1fb8.jpg?v=1790962054
https://www.jaystoysandgames.com/products/masters-of-the-universe-masterverse-new-eternia-sy-klone-action-figure-2023-mattel
