VC85 changed that in 2012, delivering his first single-card Vintage Collection release and immediately earning community praise as a standout in the wave. For collectors who bridge prequel-era fandom with Expanded Universe devotion, this card is a genuine milestone piece.

Presented on a black retro Kenner-style card under The Phantom Menace sub-line branding, the figure comes complete with a green lightsaber and blaster pistol — and notably introduced new hip articulation not seen on any prior Quinlan Vos release, elevating posability within the 3.75-inch scale. The card back, numbered VC85, features a 12-figure collect-them-all grid spanning the full Phantom Menace wave, from Darth Maul and Queen Amidala to Ratts Tyerell and Ben Quadinaros. A period promotional sticker advertising a chance to win a life-sized Darth Maul statue signed by George Lucas remains present on the card face, adding authentic 2012 era context. This example is vintage and presented carded.

As part of a wave that leaned heavily into Phantom Menace nostalgia, VC85 stands apart by spotlighting an Expanded Universe character — broadening the wave's appeal well beyond strict movie collectors. Whether displayed alongside other Vintage Collection Jedi or anchoring a dedicated Quinlan Vos shelf, this card brings a hard-to-find character into the iconic retro format that defines the line at its best.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0832/2596/8956/files/image_001_3f0adee1-1c08-4b72-b09e-85f6e26e3cd6.jpg?v=1790818562
https://www.jaystoysandgames.com/products/star-wars-the-vintage-collection-quinlan-vos-vc85-2012-hasbro
