DC Multiverse Dark Nights: Metal – Batman Earth -1 & Superman 2-Pack
Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Dark Nights: Metal event gave DC collectors something they hadn't seen before: a Batman pushed past every moral and physical limit imaginable. Earth -1's Devastator — a Bruce Wayne who weaponized the Doomsday virus against his own world's Superman — became one of the most visually arresting figures to emerge from McFarlane Toys' early DC Multiverse run, and this 2020 two-pack pairs him directly with the hero he was engineered to destroy.
This set represents a meaningful moment in the DC collectibles timeline. When McFarlane Toys acquired the DC license from Mattel in 2019, collector communities watched closely to see whether the new line could deliver on Todd McFarlane's reputation for hyper-detailed sculpts and improved articulation. The Batman Earth -1 and Superman two-pack — released in the brand's inaugural wave of DC Multiverse product — answered that question decisively. The Devastator sculpt in particular features deeply textured Doomsday-hybrid surface detail and an oversized, hunched silhouette that no single-card release in the line has replicated.
The set is presented in a large collector-style window-display box with a diorama base insert that positions both figures in a confrontation scene. The shared scenic base is exclusive to this two-pack format and cannot be replicated by purchasing the figures individually. The box spine carries Dark Nights: Metal branding in the signature distressed metallic font visible from the side panel, and the back panel features dramatic action photography alongside a trilingual 'Collect Them All' trading-card checklist spanning English, Spanish, and French.
The box is complete and intact. The window is clear with no significant scratching, the diorama base insert is undisturbed, and both figures remain in their original tray positions. Each figure ships with its included collectible trading card, as noted on the back panel (English language only). This is a vintage 2020 release; condition details are reflected in the product grade recorded in our metafields.
