DC Multiverse Gold Label Collection Two-Face Artist Series (The Dark Knight Rises) Action Figure – Collect to Build: Bane (2023 McFarlane Toys)
For Dark Knight Trilogy completists and DC Multiverse variant hunters alike, this Gold Label Artist Series Two-Face occupies a genuinely distinct space in the line. Rather than a straight film-accurate release, McFarlane reimagined the character with a Joker-influenced color scheme — purple suit, green hair, Joker-style scarring — blurring the iconography of two of Nolan's most iconic villains into a single striking figure. It's the kind of creative paint variant that separates a Gold Label release from the standard retail offering, and it shows.
This is a carded, unopened specimen in vintage condition. The black window-box packaging is intact, with the large clamshell blister fully sealed and the figure correctly positioned inside. The Gold Label Collection emblem is cleanly printed on the front, and the Joker-graffiti 'HA HA HA' motif runs across the lower card face and side panel alongside The Dark Knight Trilogy logo and 'TWO-FACE / THE DARK KNIGHT RISES' lettering. Card edges and corners show honest vintage wear consistent with a previously shelved collectible — assessed in-hand here at Jay's Toys. The blister is clear, with no significant cloudiness or separation from the card.
The figure itself carries 22 moving parts, McFarlane's standard for strong articulation at this scale. Visible through the blister are the Joker-deco duality — one half traditional scarring, one half green-painted chaos — rendered in the bold, high-contrast style that defines the Artist Series concept. The Collect to Build component is the torso section of Tom Hardy's Bane, piece 3 of 4, held separately in its own blister tray and unremoved. Collectors assembling the complete wave-build Bane figure need this piece — and keeping it carded preserves that option.
Gold Label Collection figures run in more limited quantities than standard DC Multiverse retail, and Artist Series decos don't resurface in later waves. This one combines the limited-run Gold Label status with a paint variant that appeals well beyond the core Dark Knight Rises collector set — making it a genuine cross-audience piece. A collectible trading card is also included in the package, completing the wave's four-card insert set.
