Marvel Legends Retro Collection – Marvel's Chameleon (Spider-Man: The Animated Series) (2025 Hasbro)
Fans of the Fox Kids Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1994–1998) have waited decades for a modern Marvel Legends take on Chameleon, and Hasbro's 2025 Retro Collection wave delivers exactly that. As a founding member of the Insidious Six in the animated series and Kraven the Hunter's cunning half-brother, Chameleon is a natural centrepiece for any Spider-Man rogues' gallery display — and this release pays direct homage to the beloved 1995 Toy Biz original that many collectors grew up with.
This is a carded figure, presented on a purple retro-styled blister card that faithfully recreates the aesthetic of the 1990s Toy Biz Spider-Man animated line, complete with the Marvel Comics / Spider-Man logo, character name banner, and cartoon-accurate front art. From our hands-on assessment, the card face and bubble are intact and display-ready; the card back (item no. 43581) carries a multilingual character bio and a full wave lineup — Spider-Man Unlimited, Agent Venom (Flash Thompson), Spider-Boy, Electro (Francine Frye), and Marvel's Kaine. The figure inside features a cartoon-accurate deco, an alternate disguise head, and a pair of weapon accessories visible in the bubble. As with any production run, individual copy quality may vary slightly.
