Marvel Legends Retro Collection Spider-Man — Marvel's Electro Action Figure (2020 Hasbro)
Few villains in Spider-Man's rogues' gallery carry the visual punch of Electro, and Hasbro leaned into that fully with this 2020 Marvel Legends Retro Collection release. Designed specifically for collectors who grew up hunting Toy Biz figures off store pegs in the '90s, the wave recreates the era's signature purple Spider-Man card back — web-city skyline art, bold yellow logo, and all — making it as much a display piece as a figure. Electro and Green Goblin were widely called out as standout entries in the wave at launch, and demand from nostalgic collectors remains steady.
This is a vintage carded example. The card presents the purple retro-style blister card with the 1990s-era Marvel Comics Spider-Man logo prominently displayed. The bubble is intact and the card back is clean, featuring the bilingual character bio and the full wave's "Also Look For" grid showing Spider-Man, Peter Parker, Green Goblin, Gwen Stacy, and Daredevil. Electro's classic comic-book green-and-yellow costume is rendered faithfully inside the clear blister, accompanied by interchangeable lightning-effect hands and foot lightning-discharge effects — the accessories most praised by the collector community at launch.
