Released in 2023 to tie into the Disney+ animated revival — itself a direct continuation of the beloved 1990s X-Men: The Animated Series — this Rogue immediately became one of the most sought-after entries in the wave. Fans who grew up watching the original cartoon found the animated-style aesthetic deeply resonant, and community discourse quickly positioned her as a benchmark against earlier Rogue releases including the 90s Marvel Legends version, the J. Scott Campbell edition, and the Age of Apocalypse variant.
This figure is presented on its original blister card in carded condition. The bold X-Men '97 card front features prominent Marvel Studios branding and animated artwork of Rogue in her signature yellow-and-green costume. The reverse (item no. 50861) displays the complete Wave 1 roster — Magneto, Wolverine, Storm, Marvel's Bishop, and Gambit — with multi-language "Also Available" text. The figure itself showcases screen-accurate paint work with interchangeable hands included as accessories.
