Rediscover a legendary warrior reimagined for a new generation! This 10th installment in the Missing Link series brings Ultra Magnus to life—the trusted right-hand commander of Optimus Prime and a pivotal figure in the Scramble City Project. Originally introduced as a flagship release during the Transformers 2010 series, Ultra Magnus captured fans' hearts with his distinctive white robot design that merged with a carrier unit to create an imposing combined form. This Missing Link version elevates the classic concept with enhanced articulation and expanded play possibilities.
The truck robot component draws inspiration from the C-01 Optimus Prime from the same collection, incorporating newly designed parts to facilitate seamless integration with the carrier unit. Despite maintaining the classic partially die-cast construction that collectors love, this version features movable joints throughout, enabling dynamic posing options even in combined mode. The car carrier vehicle mode offers the exciting capability to transport multiple Missing Link figures (available separately), and can be reconfigured into various modes including a maintenance station, command center, or mobile operations hub—staying true to the original design philosophy.
This release includes an exciting bonus: the iconic "Powered Buggy" that originally accompanied Diaclone products before the Transformers brand launched. Reimagined as if it had been packaged with Ultra Magnus from the beginning, this legendary accessory has been completely redesigned with full transformation capabilities and is presented as a standalone Transformer character named "Deer Stalker." The previous version's transformation components have been upgraded to create a fully functional transforming vehicle.
Additionally, Ultra Magnus's chest armor has been faithfully restored to its Protector Machine configuration, reintroducing the wheels that were omitted in the original release. Each component is designed to interact seamlessly with the main Ultra Magnus figure for enhanced play value.
