WWE Mattel Retro Series 2 Triple H Action Figure (2017 Mattel)
Few waves in the WWE Retro line captured Attitude Era nostalgia as effectively as Series 2. Mattel's Retro line launched as a deliberate throwback to the chunky LJN-era wrestling figures of the 1980s, and the Series 2 roster — Kane, The Rock, Mankind, Sting, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Triple H — is widely regarded by collectors as the wave's creative peak. The Game is depicted here in his iconic D-Generation X purple trunks bearing the DX cross logo, making it one of the most visually recognizable entries in the entire Retro run and a must-have for any Attitude Era collection.
This is a vintage 2017 example on its original card. The blue blister card presents cleanly, with the bold red "BREAK IT DOWN!" header banner clearly legible and the front bubble holding the figure securely. The card back features illustrated step-by-step instructions for the push-down torso "Authentic Superstar Moves — Pedigree!" action feature, along with the full Series 2 checklist. The figure itself shows Triple H with his signature long blond hair, white wrist tape, and black boots — all faithful to his late-1990s DX look. Card graphics and color are vibrant, consistent with proper storage over the years.
