WWE Retro App Series Xavier Woods Action Figure (The New Day) (2017 Mattel)
Launched in 2017 at the height of New Day's record-setting Tag Team Championship reign, Mattel's WWE Retro App Series was a love letter to the chunky, spring-loaded Hasbro WWF figures of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Xavier Woods is the hardest of the three New Day members to track down sealed from this assortment — the line's shorter retail shelf life left MOC examples scarce, and the cross-collector appeal (retro-style figure fans plus dedicated New Day completists) keeps demand strong. This is the kind of piece that quietly disappears from the secondary market.
This example is a vintage mint-on-card specimen. The red-border blister card features a bold black header panel with gold WWE logo, a full-photo background of Xavier playing trombone, and a crisp "NEW DAY ROCKS!" cardback depicting all four figures in Asst. FML20 — Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and 'Macho Man' Randy Savage. The spring-loaded Honor Roll forearm-smash action feature is intact and untested. Critically, the yellow-and-black New Day spinner platform with Phoenix logo — an accessory frequently lost on opened examples — remains sealed in the bubble alongside the WWE Mayhem app QR-code unlock insert (item no. FML30).
