WWE Retro Series Diesel (Big Daddy Cool) Action Figure (2019 Mattel)
For collectors who grew up with the chunky, action-feature-driven WWF Hasbro figures of the late '80s and early '90s, Mattel's WWE Retro line is the spiritual successor they always wanted — and Diesel (Kevin Nash) was one of the most requested additions to the roster. As a WWF Champion-era icon, Big Daddy Cool had long been a glaring gap in the Retro lineup, and his 2019 release was met with genuine enthusiasm from the Hasbro-era collector community.
This is a vintage carded example from the 2019 assortment (Item GDC40, Asst. GHL49). The card presents well, with the blue border and bold WWE Retro branding intact; the bubble is securely attached and the figure is visible and undamaged within. The figure itself features Diesel's signature black singlet and wraparound shades, rendered in the line's deliberately stylised, oversized sculpt. The built-in Jackknife Powerbomb action feature works as intended — pull the arms up and drop them for the signature move. The card back showcases the four-figure assortment alongside "Woken" Matt Hardy, Elias, and Junkyard Dog, and includes WWE Mayhem App Scan & Play QR integration.
