For Attitude Era fans who grew up with chunky, action-feature-driven Hasbro WWF figures, Mattel's 2017 WWE Retro Series was a deliberate and deeply satisfying callback. The Rock was among the most anticipated entries in the line — a wrestler whose peak popularity defined the late 1990s and who had been underrepresented in the retro-style format. This release offered collectors a welcome entry point into The Rock's plastic legacy without chasing older, harder-to-find Mattel Legends releases.
This is a vintage carded example from the wave alongside Kane, Mankind, Sting, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Triple H (item no. FJG55, Asst. FBG64). The card presents in solid vintage condition with the bold blue-and-gold retro-style WWE logo and a large Dwayne Johnson photo graphic.
