WWE Retros Bret "Hit Man" Hart Action Figure (2022 Mattel)
Few wrestling figures carry the nostalgic weight of Mattel's WWE Retros line, a deliberate love letter to the classic Hasbro WWF figures of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Bret "Hit Man" Hart — "The Excellence of Execution" as Gorilla Monsoon immortalised him — is one of the most sought-after entries in the series, combining his iconic pink-and-black colour scheme with the squat, stylized sculpt and pull-back action feature that defined that golden era of wrestling toys. Collectors who grew up with the originals and newcomers drawn to retro aesthetics alike have made this wave consistently difficult to source.
This figure is presented on its original 2022 Mattel card in vintage condition. The card front features full-colour photography of Bret Hart alongside the retro-style WWE logo, a "Hart Attack" action feature callout badge, and the figure displayed in a blister bubble in his signature gear. The card back, labeled "Official WWE Retros," carries line-art illustrations of all four wave companions — Jimmy Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, and Nikolai Volkoff — plus a pull-back arm action diagram with the cheeky callout "Serious as a Hart Attack!" The card and bubble have been assessed firsthand; the card presents with the character and graphics intact, consistent with a vintage collectible.
