Marvel Legends Retro Spider-Man Wave 2 – Marvel's Shocker Action Figure (2022 Hasbro)
Fan-favourite Spider-Man villain Herman Schultz finally received the definitive Marvel Legends treatment collectors had been waiting for with this 2022 Retro Collection release. Part of the Spider-Man Retro Wave 2 assortment, Hasbro deliberately channelled the energy of the original Toy Biz 1990s animated series line — right down to the purple "Marvel Comics Spider-Man" branded card and retro-styled artwork that will immediately transport any Spider-Man fan back to the toy aisle of their childhood. Community consensus consistently names this the standout figure of the wave, praised for improved body proportions and a clean, gimmick-free classic presentation that prior Shocker releases never delivered.
This copy is presented in vintage carded condition. The purple card features bold '90s-era Spider-Man animated series-inspired artwork alongside a multilingual Shocker bio describing his vibro-units, with item number 1791 visible on the card back alongside wave-mates Spider-Armor MK I, Marvel's Hammerhead, Symbiote Spider-Man, Hobgoblin, and Ben Reilly Spider-Man. The clear bubble houses the fully articulated 6-inch Shocker figure together with two vibro-shock gauntlet blast effect accessories and two alternate fist hands. Card and bubble have been assessed first-hand and present in vintage condition consistent with a retail find.
