Marvel Legends Series Spider-Man Retro Card – Hypno-Hustler (2025 Hasbro)
Disco-era deep cuts don't come deeper than Antoine Delsoin. Created by Bill Mantlo and Frank Springer in 1978, Hypno-Hustler spent decades as one of Spider-Man's most obscure villains — and this is his first-ever Marvel Legends action figure. Hasbro packaged him in the retro Spider-Man animated-series blister card format, an instantly recognizable nod to the 1990s toy line that nostalgia-driven collectors know well. That purple card with the lightning-bolt Spider-Man logo is as much a display piece as the figure itself, making this a standout on any shelf whether kept carded or opened.
This piece is in vintage condition. The card presents a vibrant purple-and-orange design with the Marvel Comics logo, character art of Hypno-Hustler wielding his pink guitar, and the accessory name "Mic Drop" listed in five languages — a fun detail that underscores the figure's personality. The clear blister houses the figure alongside a pink electric guitar, hypnotic goggles, green boot-gas effect pieces, and alternate hands. The card back features Antoine Delsoin's full character bio, a blueprint-style figure outline, and an "Also Look For" strip showing the complete wave: Spider-Man 2099, Uncanny Spider-Man (Nightcrawler), Spider-Venom, Marvel's Owl, and Cardiac.
