Marvel Legends Spider-Man – Retro Collection (Marvel Comics Card) (2020 Hasbro)
Few releases in the modern Marvel Legends era have resonated with MOC collectors the way the 2020 Retro Collection did. Deliberately designed to evoke the beloved Toy Biz 1990s Spider-Man animated series packaging, this wave was Hasbro's love letter to an entire generation of collectors — and this Spider-Man entry quickly became the standout of the six-figure set, widely praised as one of the finest Spider-Man figures Hasbro has produced to date.
This is a vintage carded example presented on the purple-and-black city-skyline blister card, faithfully reproducing the period aesthetic right down to the yellow lightning-bolt "MARVEL COMICS / SPIDER-MAN" header font and the animated-style artwork inset. The card features the classic comic-accurate red-and-blue costume, and the bubble houses the figure alongside an alternate unmasked Peter Parker head. The cardback lists wave-mates Marvel's Electro, Peter Parker, Green Goblin, Gwen Stacy, and Daredevil, adding to the nostalgic appeal for set builders.
