Few Spider-Man costumes carry the nostalgic weight of the Spider-Armor MK I — Peter Parker's self-engineered ceramic-metal battlesuit, debuting in Web of Spider-Man #100 (1993) and later immortalized across the SNES/Genesis and PS1 Spider-Man games. Hasbro's Retro Collection pays direct tribute to the iconic 1990s Toy Biz animated-series line, wrapping a fully articulated Marvel Legends figure in that unmistakable purple blister-card aesthetic. This is the wave-mate to Symbiote Spider-Man, Hobgoblin, Ben Reilly Spider-Man, Marvel's Hammerhead, and Marvel's Shocker — making it an essential piece for anyone building the complete animated-series Retro wave.
This listing is for a vintage carded example. The purple card presents the bold yellow "SPIDER-MAN" title and red/yellow Marvel Comics logo in faithful period style; the orange character-art inset clearly labels "Spider-Armor MK I." The bubble is intact and housing the silver-and-black armored figure alongside a web-splat effect piece and a web-blast effect piece. The card back (© 2022 Hasbro, item no. 12651) features a multilingual ceramic-metal battlesuit bio, a line-art articulation diagram, and the "Also Look For" strip.
