DC Multiverse Batman (DC Future State) Action Figure (2022 McFarlane Toys)
When DC launched its Future State publishing event in early 2021, it handed the Batman mantle to Tim 'Jace' Fox — son of Lucius Fox — outfitting him in a sleek armored suit that broke sharply from every previous Caped Crusader design. McFarlane Toys translated that near-future aesthetic into one of the more visually striking entries in the DC Multiverse line, and this vintage example presents collectors with an opportunity to add a genuinely distinctive Batman variant to the shelf.
This figure is vintage and is presented mint-on-card in its original standard DC Multiverse window-box packaging. The black box is structurally sound, with the large front blister window intact and the figure and accessories seated cleanly in their tray. The rear panel retains its full artwork and the multilingual 'Collect Them All' strip displaying the wave's companion figures. Condition is assessed first-hand; what you see in the product images is precisely what ships.
The Jace Fox Batman costume translates well to the 7-inch scale McFarlane established as its DC Multiverse standard. The figure features 22 moving parts, giving it meaningful posing range across the shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, and knees — consistent with the articulation philosophy McFarlane brought to the line when it displaced earlier DC licensees in the early 2020s. The armored blue-and-dark-gray suit with gold bat-symbol and utility belt deco sets it apart immediately from mainline Bruce Wayne releases of the same era.
From a completionist standpoint, the DC Future State wave holds particular interest: it was one of McFarlane's first dedicated comic-event themed waves, and the existence of a Target-exclusive Gold Label variant has kept collector attention on the standard-release figures as well. The wave companions visible on the rear panel's 'Collect Them All' strip include other Future State characters, making this a natural anchor piece for anyone building out that sub-line.
The collectible trading card included with the figure remains sealed inside the packaging.
