PIX! prints a hard edition cap on every box and publishes its chase odds at 1 in 6. YouTooz numbers its figures and retires them permanently, which is why the back catalogue is where the interesting pieces live. Funko is the category's back catalogue — two decades of it, with rarity that emerges after the fact rather than being stated up front.

Chase is not the same as blind box, and it's worth knowing which you're buying. With a chase release you're buying a named figure — the Wonder Woman, the Rocky — and there's a stated chance the sealed box holds a variant of it instead. With a blind box you don't know which character is inside at all. Same sealed box, very different purchase. We label both plainly rather than letting the ambiguity do the selling.
