The 30th Celebration Booster Bundle is the product a lot of collectors have been waiting on since September 16: six packs of the anniversary set, nothing else in the box. It lands on our site and at all three of our stores at 10 AM Central on Friday, October 2, 2026, alongside the 30th Celebration Mini Tins, which we're selling online as full sealed displays of all ten designs and in our stores one tin at a time as well. Wave two at Jay's is 10 AM Central, Friday October 2, online and in store, no pre-orders. Online, up to five Booster Bundles and five Mini Tin displays per person per day through October 8. The two products are the Booster Bundle (six packs) and the Mini Tin Display (all ten tins, twenty packs). In store you can also buy single Mini Tins.
Wave one sold out in under 24 hours
We opened the first wave on September 16 with five products: the Elite Trainer Box, the Poster Collection, the Knock Out Collection, the Tech Sticker Collection and the Sylveon ex and Greninja ex boxes. Every one of them was gone in less than a day, online and across the three stores, even with the two-per-person limit in place.
That tells you two things about October 2. Demand for this set is real, not hype, and the Booster Bundle will not sit on the shelf. If you want one, be on the site or at the counter at 10.
Why the packs are worth chasing
30th Celebration packs are small, five cards instead of ten, and people worried that meant less to pull. The numbers say the opposite. TCGplayer's Authentication Center opened more than 3,000 packs of the set and published the results in their 30th Celebration pull-rate study. The short version: a hit about every three packs, where most Mega Evolution sets give you one about every five. And that's before the guaranteed Pikachu in the last slot of every pack.
Run those numbers on a Booster Bundle and six packs average out to about two Illustration Rare or better pulls. Averages, not promises; packs are random and your box will be different. But it's why the Booster Bundle is the product pack openers have been circling.
What wave one is worth now
Ten days after release, sealed 30th Celebration is holding its value on the secondary market. Loose booster packs, which were never sold on their own at retail, are still trading for more than $15 each. Here's where TCGplayer's market price sat for the wave-one products on September 26, 2026:
Market prices move every day, and these are a snapshot, not a prediction. The point is simpler than that: the best time to buy this set is release morning, from a store with factory-sealed product straight from the distributor, not two weeks later from a stranger on a marketplace.
How to get yours on October 2
Our allocation is set by our distributor and we won't know final counts until the cases land, so the first week online has a per-person limit to get product into as many hands as possible.
- Sign up for the launch alert. There are no pre-orders for this wave, at Jay's or officially, so the email at 10 AM is the closest thing to a head start. The form is further down this page.
- Online at 10:00 AM Central. Booster Bundles and Mini Tin displays go live in the 30th Celebration collection. Up to five Booster Bundles and five Mini Tin displays per person per day, October 2 through 8.
- In store at 10:00 AM Central. All three stores put wave two on the counter as the doors open: West Des Moines, Southside and Ankeny. Single Mini Tins are sold in store too, alongside the displays.
- Shipping. In-stock orders placed before our noon Central cutoff leave the same business day, bubble-wrapped, braced and boxed. A 10 AM release-day order ships that afternoon.
Booster Bundle or Mini Tin Display
Just the packs The Booster Bundle. Six packs and nothing else, so everything in the box is a chance at a pull. If you're opening, this is the one.
The whole set of tins The Mini Tin Display. All ten tins sealed, one of each design, so both the day scene and the night scene come complete. Twenty packs, ten sticker sheets and ten art cards, and the most packs of anything in this wave. Online, this is the only way we're selling the tins; in our stores you can also buy them one at a time.
Plenty of collectors will grab one of each: the Booster Bundle for straight packs, the display for the full set of tins.
