Marvel Comics Spider-Man: The New Animated Series – Hobgoblin (Hurling Pumpkin Bomb Action with Goblin Glider) (1994 Toy Biz_
Few villains defined the 1994 Fox Kids Spider-Man animated series toy line quite like Hobgoblin. Launched in Wave 1 alongside Spider-Man, Dr. Octopus, Carnage, and Venom, this Toy Biz release captured the character's menacing on-screen presence in vivid orange and dark blue-grey plastic — a colorway that remains instantly recognizable to anyone who grew up with the cartoon. Thirty years on, the figure has become a genuine piece of '90s Marvel toy history, consistently revisited by vintage collectors and animated-series enthusiasts alike.
This is a vintage carded example on its original deep-purple card with the bold yellow Spider-Man logo and cityscape artwork. The card front calls out the "Hurling Pumpkin Bomb Action with Goblin Glider" feature — a spring-loaded arm mechanism and a back-lever glider missile launcher that were hallmarks of Toy Biz's action-feature philosophy at the time. The card back displays the full Wave 1 roster of seven figures and includes a character bio alongside three-step action-feature instructions. Item No. 47107, © 1994 Toy Biz, Inc. / Marvel Entertainment Group. The bubble remains intact and the card displays with the colorful artwork fully legible.
For collectors building a complete Wave 1 run, Hobgoblin is one of the most desirable slots — his head sculpt in particular has earned a reputation in the customizing community as a sought-after donor for modern figure projects. Whether displayed carded alongside Carnage and Venom or kept as a standalone showcase piece, this is a cornerstone of any serious Toy Biz Spider-Man animated series collection.

Every review here is Judge.me–verified — no cherry-picking, no edits. Just collectors who got their figures mint instead of mangled, and came back to say so.
Jays is my first stop in collecting. I preorder things through Walmart, Amazon, Hasbro Pulse, etc., but Jays always seem to get the items and either meet or beat the other companies pricing. I always end up cancelling my pre-orders and going with Jays. Better selection, price and MUCH MUCH better shipping quality. You can't even compare anyone else's shipping and packing to Jays. And that's why Jay's blows them all out of the water.
Great fast shipping, packaging with care. I am definitely buying from Jay's again! Such peace of mind knowing my items will arrive minty. 5 stars!
Perfect and careful packaging, shipped super quick. Thank you, will definitely be following the store!
Didn't pull any punches in item description. Came extremely fast and well packed. Extremely happy being a first time buyer! Thank you.
I've been buying from Jay's for a while now and I am never disappointed with the experience. Prices that can't be beat, easy PayPal option, and lots of bubble wrap surrounding the products. The fact that they go out of their way to make consumers happy keeps me coming back.
This is my 3rd or 4th time I have ordered from Jay's. The orders are always correct and arrive pretty quick and packaged extremely well. Best in the industry.
