Star Wars: The Black Series #13 Clone Trooper Captain (2014 Hasbro)
When Hasbro launched the Black Series 6-inch line in 2013, numbered entries like #13 Clone Trooper Captain established the format as the go-to premium scale for Star Wars collectors. The Captain is built on the Phase I Clone Trooper mold — the iconic helmet and armor profile straight out of Attack of the Clones — distinguished by bold red captain markings on the helmet, shoulders, and chest. For army-builder collectors, the red-striped Captain is an essential rank piece alongside the standard white trooper, and early Black Series numbered releases carry a particular nostalgia for those who followed the line from its debut wave.
This example is in vintage condition, presented in the original black box with blue accent stripe, front window intact and figure displayed clearly inside. The characteristic Phase I helmet icon appears in the upper-right corner of the package, and the multilingual character name panel — English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese — runs across the lower front. The back of the box features Clone Trooper battle artwork and full multilingual text consistent with the 2014 © Hasbro / Lucasfilm Ltd. release. Both accessories — the blaster rifle and pistol — are present and secured in the tray.
As one of the earliest numbered entries in what would become a landmark collector line, this figure appeals both to completists tracking down the original Black Series run and to clone variant enthusiasts building out their Republic forces. The red captain deco reads well on display alongside standard Phase I troopers, and the numbered-series packaging format is a hallmark of the line's formative years that later waves moved away from entirely.
