Star Wars The Black Series – Darth Vader (Emperor's Wrath) Walgreens Exclusive Action Figure (2015 Hasbro)
Few moments in Star Wars carry the emotional weight of Anakin Skywalker's redemption, and this 2015 Walgreens-exclusive Black Series release captures it at 6-inch scale in a way that had never been done before in the line. Depicting Vader's Force-lightning-scarred, unmasked visage from Return of the Jedi, the Emperor's Wrath figure filled a glaring gap in the then-young Black Series roster and generated immediate collector buzz — earning a wave of YouTube coverage upon release and later earning a second life as Vintage Collection repack VC385, a testament to its enduring demand among Star Wars devotees.
This vintage example is presented in the original black-box Black Series packaging with front window display, the distinctive red-accented bottom panel, and the bilingual "Darth Vader – Emperor's Wrath / La Colère de l'Empereur" title in bold red text. The box back features the four-language redemption story — English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese — alongside the 2015 Hasbro and Disney branding. The figure includes a red lightsaber and a second accessory, both secured in the original tray. The package shows light shelf wear consistent with a 2015 vintage piece, with the window bubble and box graphics remaining clear and intact.
The Emperor's Wrath figure holds a meaningful place in the Black Series timeline as one of the earliest retailer exclusives to tackle an unmasked Anakin portrait at this scale. Collectors have also noted the head's compatibility with the standard Black Series Vader body as an added point of interest. Whether displayed alongside a Return of the Jedi shelf build or kept as a standalone exclusive, this piece represents a pivotal moment in the line's history that any serious Black Series completionist will want to secure.

Every review here is Judge.me–verified — no cherry-picking, no edits. Just collectors who got their figures mint instead of mangled, and came back to say so.
Jays is my first stop in collecting. I preorder things through Walmart, Amazon, Hasbro Pulse, etc., but Jays always seem to get the items and either meet or beat the other companies pricing. I always end up cancelling my pre-orders and going with Jays. Better selection, price and MUCH MUCH better shipping quality. You can't even compare anyone else's shipping and packing to Jays. And that's why Jay's blows them all out of the water.
Great fast shipping, packaging with care. I am definitely buying from Jay's again! Such peace of mind knowing my items will arrive minty. 5 stars!
Perfect and careful packaging, shipped super quick. Thank you, will definitely be following the store!
Didn't pull any punches in item description. Came extremely fast and well packed. Extremely happy being a first time buyer! Thank you.
I've been buying from Jay's for a while now and I am never disappointed with the experience. Prices that can't be beat, easy PayPal option, and lots of bubble wrap surrounding the products. The fact that they go out of their way to make consumers happy keeps me coming back.
This is my 3rd or 4th time I have ordered from Jay's. The orders are always correct and arrive pretty quick and packaged extremely well. Best in the industry.

Yep. We’ve been hunting plastic treasures since the ‘90s. We speak fluent collector (MOC, BAF, grail hunting), we’ve camped outside stores for midnight releases, and we run this place like the shop we always wished existed. Professional enablers at your service. 😎
30 days to decide if it’s true love. Not happy? Full refund to your original payment method. Damaged? We replace or refund fast. Just keep items in the condition you got them, and we’ll make it right — because the only drama in collecting should be choosing a display pose. One exception: trading card game product is final sale, since a sealed box can’t be verified once it leaves our hands.
Calling dibs costs you $0 today — we only charge your card when it ships. No awkward “I paid months ago” limbo. Mixing in-stock + pre-orders? In-stock ships now; pre-orders ship together once the last one lands, and shipping’s charged on each leg (pro tip: check ship dates before combining pre-orders). Dates can shift — we’ll keep you posted faster than Spider-Man slings webs. And if we ever can’t deliver (rare), you’re not charged a dime.
