Unmasked! Secret Files: Series 2 — Barbara Gordon / Batgirl Action Figure (2006 DC Direct)
DC Direct's mid-2000s Unmasked! Secret Files line was one of the era's most story-driven collector concepts — presenting each hero both in full costume and in civilian identity via a swappable unmasked head. Series 2 expanded the lineup to five figures, pairing Barbara Gordon's Batgirl alongside Bruce Wayne/Batman, Red Hood/The Joker, Clark Kent/Superman, and J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter. It was aimed squarely at adult DC Comics fans rather than the children's toy market, and sculptor Karen Palinko's comic-accurate work on Barbara Gordon reflects that adult-collector intent.
This example is vintage and presented mint on card. The black card displays clean, bold "UNMASKED! Secret Files: Series 2" branding with striking red lettering. The bubble is intact and secure, housing the Batgirl figure in her classic grey, blue, and yellow costume alongside a separately carded Barbara Gordon unmasked head — the line's signature dual-identity feature. The card back retains its full Polaroid-style photo panel layout with character origin blurbs and the dcdirectonline.com URL, distributed by Diamond Comic Distributors. From our hands-on inspection, the card presents very well for a vintage piece with vibrant print and no punch-hole damage.
Jay's Toys sources authentic, officially licensed DC Direct product — this is not a reproduction or third-party piece. Every vintage collectible we list has been individually assessed in-house for condition. If you have questions about this item, our team is here to help, and we stand behind every sale. This is a single-run mid-2000s DC Direct release; once it's gone, restocking isn't possible.

Every review here is Judge.me–verified — no cherry-picking, no edits. Just collectors who got their figures mint instead of mangled, and came back to say so.
Jays is my first stop in collecting. I preorder things through Walmart, Amazon, Hasbro Pulse, etc., but Jays always seem to get the items and either meet or beat the other companies pricing. I always end up cancelling my pre-orders and going with Jays. Better selection, price and MUCH MUCH better shipping quality. You can't even compare anyone else's shipping and packing to Jays. And that's why Jay's blows them all out of the water.
Great fast shipping, packaging with care. I am definitely buying from Jay's again! Such peace of mind knowing my items will arrive minty. 5 stars!
Perfect and careful packaging, shipped super quick. Thank you, will definitely be following the store!
Didn't pull any punches in item description. Came extremely fast and well packed. Extremely happy being a first time buyer! Thank you.
I've been buying from Jay's for a while now and I am never disappointed with the experience. Prices that can't be beat, easy PayPal option, and lots of bubble wrap surrounding the products. The fact that they go out of their way to make consumers happy keeps me coming back.
This is my 3rd or 4th time I have ordered from Jay's. The orders are always correct and arrive pretty quick and packaged extremely well. Best in the industry.

Yep. We’ve been hunting plastic treasures since the ‘90s. We speak fluent collector (MOC, BAF, grail hunting), we’ve camped outside stores for midnight releases, and we run this place like the shop we always wished existed. Professional enablers at your service. 😎
30 days to decide if it’s true love. Not happy? Full refund to your original payment method. Damaged? We replace or refund fast. Just keep items in the condition you got them, and we’ll make it right — because the only drama in collecting should be choosing a display pose. One exception: trading card game product is final sale, since a sealed box can’t be verified once it leaves our hands.
Calling dibs costs you $0 today — we only charge your card when it ships. No awkward “I paid months ago” limbo. Mixing in-stock + pre-orders? In-stock ships now; pre-orders ship together once the last one lands, and shipping’s charged on each leg (pro tip: check ship dates before combining pre-orders). Dates can shift — we’ll keep you posted faster than Spider-Man slings webs. And if we ever can’t deliver (rare), you’re not charged a dime.
