WWE Elite Collection Greatest Hits Typhoon Action Figure (2023 Mattel)
As one half of the Natural Disasters alongside Earthquake, Typhoon (Fred Ottman) was a defining force in the early-1990s WWF tag team division and a World Tag Team Champion. Elite-scale representation of the big man was virtually non-existent before this Greatest Hits release, making it one of the most collector-requested figures in the nostalgia-driven sub-line. For WWF Golden and New Generation era collectors building out a complete roster, this figure fills a long-standing gap that aftermarket hunting couldn't easily satisfy.
This is a vintage unit in collector-grade condition. The window box presents well, with the blister window display allowing a clear view of the figure in its iconic red singlet with the Typhoon logo. The figure includes a WWF-style Tag Team Championship belt, adding immediate display value. The cardback features career stats — Norfolk, VA hometown, Typhoon Splash finisher — and a wave lineup strip placing him alongside Earthquake, The Rock, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Brutus Beefcake, Seth Rollins, and R-Truth. The True FX Life-Like Details badge reflects Mattel's premium Elite-class deco standard, with photo-real face printing that captures Ottman's likeness accurately.
