WWE Retro App Series – Finn Bálor (Demon) Action Figure (2017 Mattel)
For retro wrestling toy collectors and Finn Bálor devotees alike, this 2017 Mattel WWE Retro App Series Wave 1 release is the one to own. Conceived as a modern tribute to the chunky LJN WWF rubber figures of the 1980s, the line launched at the peak of Bálor's Demon King persona — and no figure in the run captures that moment more completely than this full-torso Demon body-paint version. It's the definitive Demon Bálor in the Retro App lineup, and first-wave MOC copies are only becoming harder to find.
This example is vintage mint-on-card and has been stored protected within a plastic case. The retro-styled red cardback — faithfully echoing 1980s LJN WWF packaging aesthetics — is vivid, with clean edges and no bubble separation. The header reads "UNLEASH THE DEMON KING!" and the cardback displays the complete Wave 1 lineup (Bálor, Ric Flair, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens) alongside item numbers FML25 / Asst. FML20. The Demon-crest oval display base sits undisturbed within the bubble alongside the WWE Mayhem mobile-game QR code insert — a genuine time-capsule detail now that the app is discontinued. The pull-and-release Coup de Grâce arm action remains factory-set.
