Geoff Johns' Blackest Night redefined what a DC crossover event could feel like — and no single image from that story hit harder than Superman reanimated as a hollow servant of the Black Lantern Corps. McFarlane Toys translated that deeply unsettling vision into plastic with this 2022 DC Multiverse release, and the result is one of the more striking entries in the entire line. This is figure #4 of 4 in the Atrocitus Collect to Build wave — the piece that contributes Atrocitus' legs to complete the BAF.
The sculpt pulls directly from the comic source material without softening anything. The decayed skull-like head, inverted silver-on-black chest symbol, and tattered cape detailing are all exactly where they should be. At 7 inches, the scale gives McFarlane's sculptors room to render that level of detail accurately, and the dark deco — black and silver throughout — stays true to the Black Lantern Corps aesthetic. This was McFarlane's first dedicated Blackest Night treatment at this scale in the DC Multiverse line, which gives the wave genuine milestone status for collectors tracking the line's history.
Articulation across 22 points of movement means you have real flexibility for display. Whether you pose him mid-flight with arms extended or grounded in a forward-leaning menace, the joints support it. The figure stands on an included base that keeps more dramatic poses stable on a shelf.
This example is in carded collectible condition. The bubble is intact and attached. Upon close inspection, the plastic display window shows slight scuff and scratch marks, and the top left corner of the hanger tab carries a minor wrinkle.
