Battle for the Stars – Ghost 1st Steel Legion 1/18 Scale Action Figure (2022 JoyToy)
Ghost is the flagship character of JoyToy's 1st Steel Legion cohort, one of the earliest and most celebrated sub-groups within the Battle for the Stars original sci-fi universe launched in 2022. The line marked JoyToy's move beyond licensed military and fantasy subjects into wholly original world-building, and the 1st Steel Legion — comprising Ghost, Black Sickle, Ice Sword, and Red Blade — was the entry point that put the range on the global collector map. Ghost's green-and-gold powered armour sculpt drew immediate attention for the layered panel detail and tight proportional accuracy that JoyToy's refined 1/18-scale molds deliver at this price tier.
This example presents in vintage, complete-in-box condition. The black-and-gold window box shows light surface wear consistent with age, while the amber/gold spines carry the Chinese 戰星辰 logotype and 1st Steel Legion faction crest. The figure itself is ABS/PVC construction (Product ID JT1699) and ships with a generous loadout: a sword, a pistol, an assault rifle, a heavy rotary gun, and multiple sets of interchangeable hands — giving the figure real posing range straight out of the box. The rear panel accessories lay-flat confirms all pieces are present.
With Ghost now listed as discontinued at major international hobby retailers, completing the four-figure 1st Steel Legion set has become meaningfully more difficult. For collectors already holding Black Sickle, Ice Sword, or Red Blade, this is the missing anchor piece. At 1/18 scale Ghost also pairs naturally with JoyToy's broader Dark Source and Warhammer 40,000 lines that share the same footprint, making him a versatile display centerpiece for fans of highly detailed small-scale sci-fi figures.
