LifeAfter Infected Worker LAI004 1:18 Scale Action Figure (2021 JoyToy)
The fourth entry in JoyToy's officially licensed LifeAfter Infected five-figure roster, LAI004 arrived circa 2021 at a moment of surging Western interest in premium 1:18-scale Chinese-produced figures. The Infected series earned strong community praise for its variety of distinct zombie body types and sculpts, and the Worker stands out within that lineup as the variant with the most interactive accessories — two removable pieces that set it apart from its wave-mates.
This example is vintage and factory-sealed in the original black box packaging, which carries atmospheric post-apocalyptic artwork on the front alongside the NetEase Games logo, the LifeAfter (明日之后) game branding, and the JOYTOY mark. The rear panel features full front-and-back figure renders plus a bust close-up, a red 全身可动 ("fully articulated") banner, and an approximate height notation of 10 cm. Construction is ABS and PVC. The figure's standout features are its removable hard hat and removable belt — accessories that expand posing and display options beyond what most entries in the Infected series offer.
For 1:18-scale collectors building out a zombie diorama or completing the full five-figure Infected roster, the Worker is a hard-to-find piece from a limited licensed tie-in line that never saw wide Western retail distribution.
