This highly detailed construction block set recreates the iconic PzKpfw VI Tiger with number 131, one of the most famous tanks in history. This legendary Tiger was captured by British forces in North Africa during World War II and remains the star attraction at The Tank Museum, where it continues to run to this day.
Brought to life in the popular 1:35 scale, this marks COBI's first release of the famous Tiger 131 in this impressive size. The model features numerous movable components including a rotating turret, adjustable gun barrel, functional wheels, and working tracks. With 898 carefully designed pieces, this set authentically captures the historical details of the original vehicle. High-quality prints that resist wear and fading cover the tank in colors faithful to the original, creating a stunning display piece.
The set features a miniature Maybach engine model that can be displayed alongside the tank or installed under the service flap for added realism. The working caterpillar tracks consist of multiple individual links that move as you roll the tank across surfaces. Functional hatches open to reveal interior space designed to accommodate standard COBI figures. A tankman figure dressed in tropical uniform representing the tank commander is included, along with a display plate featuring the tank's name and The Tank Museum logo.

This legendary vehicle has transcended its historical origins to become a cultural icon. First deployed near Leningrad and in Tunisia during August and September 1942, the Henschel-designed Tiger was remarkably modern and effective for its time. Though production demanded extensive resources and manufacturing time, Tiger I and Tiger II tanks significantly influenced battlefield outcomes throughout the war. These formidable machines destroyed over 10,300 Allied tanks and 11,380 guns while suffering only 1,725 losses of their own.
