Star Wars Return of the Jedi Sy Snootles and the Rebo Band Figure Set (1983 Kenner)
Step into the Max Rebo Band's unforgettable performance at Jabba's Palace with this authentic 1983 Kenner action figure set from the Return of the Jedi line. Sy Snootles and the Rebo Band captures one of the most memorable musical moments from the original trilogy, bringing home the cantina atmosphere that captivated audiences worldwide.
This three-figure set features the talented musicians who entertained Jabba the Hutt: Sy Snootles, the Pa'lowick lead vocalist with her distinctive long snout and microphone; Max Rebo, the blue Ortolan keyboard player; and Droopy McCool, the Kitonak woodwind musician. Each figure showcases Kenner's attention to the alien designs that made the Star Wars universe so rich and immersive.
Released during the height of Return of the Jedi mania in 1983, this set represents a unique entry in Kenner's vintage Star Wars catalog—one of the few multi-figure sets that brought supporting characters from a single scene together in one package. The cardback artwork and packaging design are quintessential early-80s Kenner, with vibrant graphics celebrating the theatrical release.
Graded CC-4 (Poor / Display Only) by Collector's Cache standards, this set shows honest wear from four decades of existence. The card and bubble exhibit yellowing consistent with age, multiple creases affect the card structure including damage to the top edge and hanger area, and a rip is present on the left side. Previous price stickers remain on the hanger. While not pristine, this set offers an affordable entry point for collectors seeking to complete their vintage Return of the Jedi lineup or those building a display focused on Jabba's Palace scenes. The figures remain sealed behind the original bubble, preserving their never-removed status despite the packaging wear.
For fans of the deeper Star Wars mythology and collectors who appreciate the quirky alien designs that populated the saga's corners, Sy Snootles and the Rebo Band remains a nostalgic piece of toy history from the golden age of Kenner's legendary run.

Jays is my first stop in collecting. I preorder things through Walmart, Amazon, Hasbro Pulse, etc., but Jays always seem to get the items and either meet or beat the other companies pricing. I always end up cancelling my pre-orders and going with Jays. Better selection, price and MUCH MUCH better shipping quality. You can't even compare anyone else's shipping and packing to Jays. And that's why Jay's blows them all out of the water.
Great fast shipping, packaging with care. I am definitely buying from Jay's again! Such peace of mind knowing my items will arrive minty. 5 stars!
Perfect and careful packaging, shipped super quick. Thank you, will definitely be following the store!
Didn't pull any punches in item description. Came extremely fast and well packed. Extremely happy being a first time buyer! Thank you.
I've been buying from Jay's for a while now and I am never disappointed with the experience. Prices that can't be beat, easy PayPal option, and lots of bubble wrap surrounding the products. The fact that they go out of their way to make consumers happy keeps me coming back.
This is my 3rd or 4th time I have ordered from Jay's. The orders are always correct and arrive pretty quick and packaged extremely well. Best in the industry.
