Superman The Animated Series Evil Alien Brainiac Action Figure (1996 Kenner)
Step into the world of Metropolis with this authentic Kenner action figure from Superman: The Animated Series. Released in 1996 during the height of the celebrated animated show's run, this carded figure captures Brainiac in his menacing alien form—one of Superman's most iconic adversaries brought to life in the distinctive animated style that defined the series.
Brainiac, the Coluan android with 12th-level intellect, was reimagined for the animated series as a cold, calculating threat to both Krypton and Earth. This figure faithfully translates the character's sleek, biomechanical design from screen to plastic, complete with his signature green and purple color scheme. Kenner's Superman: The Animated Series line was praised for its artistic fidelity to Bruce Timm's elegant character designs, and this Brainiac figure stands as a testament to that commitment.
The figure remains sealed on its original card, preserving both the vintage artwork and the nostalgia of 1990s action figure packaging. The card back typically featured other figures in the wave, making it a time capsule of the entire collection. For collectors of DC Animated Universe memorabilia or fans who grew up watching the series, this piece represents an essential chapter in Superman's animated legacy.
This example grades CC-6 (Good) on the Collector's Cache scale. The card shows honest shelf wear consistent with nearly three decades of existence—corners exhibit slight wrinkling and discoloration that tell the story of a figure that survived the retail environment of the mid-90s. The blister and figure itself remain intact, making this an affordable entry point for collectors seeking authenticated vintage Superman animation merchandise without gem mint pricing.

Jays is my first stop in collecting. I preorder things through Walmart, Amazon, Hasbro Pulse, etc., but Jays always seem to get the items and either meet or beat the other companies pricing. I always end up cancelling my pre-orders and going with Jays. Better selection, price and MUCH MUCH better shipping quality. You can't even compare anyone else's shipping and packing to Jays. And that's why Jay's blows them all out of the water.
Great fast shipping, packaging with care. I am definitely buying from Jay's again! Such peace of mind knowing my items will arrive minty. 5 stars!
Perfect and careful packaging, shipped super quick. Thank you, will definitely be following the store!
Didn't pull any punches in item description. Came extremely fast and well packed. Extremely happy being a first time buyer! Thank you.
I've been buying from Jay's for a while now and I am never disappointed with the experience. Prices that can't be beat, easy PayPal option, and lots of bubble wrap surrounding the products. The fact that they go out of their way to make consumers happy keeps me coming back.
This is my 3rd or 4th time I have ordered from Jay's. The orders are always correct and arrive pretty quick and packaged extremely well. Best in the industry.
