WWE Retro Series Iron Sheik Action Figure (2019 Mattel)
Few characters from wrestling's golden age carry the cultural weight of the Iron Sheik — WWF Champion, Hall of Famer, and one of the most iconic heels of the 1980s. Mattel's WWE Retro line launched around 2017 as a loving tribute to the original Hasbro WWF figures, deliberately replicating their chunky, stylized sculpts and signature spring-loaded action-move gimmick. Iron Sheik was an obvious and essential pick for the line, and mint-on-card examples have become genuinely scarce given the series' limited retail window, making him one of the most coveted entries for crossover collectors who grew up with the Hasbro originals.
This example is presented on its blue-bordered blister card in excellent shape, featuring the retro WWF-style logo prominently on the card front alongside Iron Sheik's photo and the "Authentic Superstar Moves — Gutwrench Suplex" medallion. The bubble is intact and sits cleanly against the card with no visible lifting or crushing. The figure itself — sculpted in the chunky, exaggerated Hasbro-homage style in blue trunks and red boots — shows no paint wear inside the bubble.
