WWE Sami Zayn Retro Series 4 Action Figure (2017 Mattel)
The Mattel WWE Retro line was built for collectors who grew up with chunky LJN WWF rubber figures in the 1980s, and Series 4 delivered some of the line's most beloved characters. Sami Zayn — "The Underdog from the Underground" — was at peak fan-favourite status when this figure released in 2017, making it a natural fit for a line rooted in crowd-pleasing nostalgia. Alongside wave-mates Finn Bálor, Ric Flair, and Kevin Owens, Zayn's inclusion cemented Series 4 as a strong collector assortment.
This is a vintage 2017 carded example. The card features the retro-styled scratch WWE logo in gold and blue, with a full-colour photo of Zayn on the header. The bubble presents cleanly against the card, and the card stock shows the character and condition quality you'd expect from a carefully stored piece. The figure itself captures Zayn in his black trunks with Arabic script detailing and wristbands, and the spring-loaded Helluvah Kick snap mechanism — activated by pulling back the leg — is the action-feature gimmick that distinguished the Retro line from the highly articulated Elite Collection of the same era. Item codes FML37 / Asst. FML20 are present on the reverse alongside the WWE Mayhem app QR code.
